Best Laptops for Android Development | Laptops Under 50000

laptops for android development

In this post, we’ll talk about the best laptops for Android Development. The focus would be on the best price to value ratio offered. We’ll try to find best laptops for android development at a minimal price.

Having said that, the laptops may not be cheap as Android Development requires some serious power which doesn’t come cheap.

Before jumping into the laptops, let’s take a look at the points that I’ve used for selecting my preferences.

  1. It should have 8gb RAM.
  2. Processor: Core i3 10th Gen or Core i5 8, 9, 10th Gen.
  3. GPU: Integrated GPU works.
  4. Price: Below 50k INR.
  5. Service: This is a crucial part,

I’ve chosen a few laptops, but if you believe you can provide some inputs, some better laptop recommendations, then feel free to comment and let me know.

Disclaimer: I’ll not be mentioning apple laptops as they can go beyond 80K, but if you can afford one, then buy any apple laptop with 8GB RAM. They all work extremely well with Android Development.

Laptops for Android Development

1. Acer Swift 3 8th Gen Core i5 1TB HDD

This is the first laptop in the order, and my favorite one! It’s got everything required and at a minimal price point of INR 47,990.

It has all the specs required.

Laptops for Android Development should be power packed and this laptop has got it all.

If you’re getting such specs at any other laptop for this price, grab it for sure. It doesn’t have windows, if you can install it on your own then well and good. Otherwise get it installed from your local store. Wouldn’t cost much!

At this price this is one of the best laptops for android development that I’ve been able to find so far.

2. Lenovo V15 Intel Core i5 10th Gen 8GB/256GB SSD

Lenovo is another good brand around which doesn’t cost much and provides a bang for the buck. At the time of writing this article, it was around 49,000.

Best part is that it has core i5 below INR 50K which is a rarity. I’ve only found Acer Swift 3 and Lenovo V15 to match this price point and provide core i5.

It also has the specs required:

This comes pre-installed with Windows 10 Home which is another point to consider. Although it makes it costlier than the ACER Swift 3 which has Ubuntu. But you could always install windows separately.

3. Dell Inspiron 3593 Core i3-1005G1/8GB/1TB HDD

With it’s superior quality of post sales service, DELL is a no-brainer when it comes to laptops. It’s got all the specs with a very attractive price point of INR 43,450.

It has all the specs required:

It comes with Core i3 10th Gen and would be very capable to handle Android Studio. If you’re concerned about after sales service, then absolutely go for DELL laptops as in my experience, they’re the best at providing warranty services.

4. Lenovo Ideapad 10th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB/512GB

This is another beast, although on the expensive side. That’s why it’s 4th on the list. It’s got an impressive 10th Gen, core i5 Processor.

It has all the required specs:

I’m not sure the reason why it’s so expensive, but because it’s below 50K, I had to include it. Also you might get many bank offers on this one, especially during the festive sale.

It also comes with Windows 10 Home which is a point to consider if having windows installed is important to you.

5. Honor Magicbook i5

This was recommended by one of the subscribers of my youtube channel DesiCoder. This laptop by honor is definitely a bang for the buck at just INR 42,990.

It’s got some really impressive specs at this price:

It also comes with Windows 10 Home, installed. So this is a really good laptop overall. These are some really interesting specs.

Although, Honor hasn’t got much name in the laptop industry like DELL, HP etc… So do your own research on this one about service centers, post sales service before buying it.

Conclusion

This was my list of laptops for Android Development. Laptops mentioned above are in the priority order of my choice. I’d go with the 1st one if I had to.

This list doesn’t include Apple laptops since they’re costly and can go beyond 80K. But if you can afford them, then there’s no better.

If you think I’ve missed out on any laptop, let me know in the comments below. I’ll review it for you 🙂
